Fernie Mountain Bike Club's end of season epic poker ride. Ride all the trails or just a couple, go for the low or high roller. Collect stamps, get a poker hand, eat great food, drink beer, win prizes. Must be an FMBC member, no exceptions.

Join the Elk River Alliance for this year's 9th annual Elk River Shoreline Cleanup! Volunteers are encouraged to meet in Fernie, Sparwood and Elkford to adopt sites along the river to remove refuse and noxious weeds.

To help out, meet at one of the three following locations on September 29th at 1PM:

Leisure Centre - Sparwood
Recreation Centre - Elkford

Join the Elk River Alliance for a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to better manage stormwater on your property, including rainwater harvest, rain garden construction, and so much more!

The workshop will be hosted on September 14th from 9am to 4pm. Register at College of the Rockies - the workshop is being subsidized and now will be FREE for Elk Valley residents!
